Exclamation Problem: connect to the internet through Wap - 10-06-2009, 09:56 AM

hi

i try to connect to the internet through wap but i got this:
unable to connect to the internet, please try again later.
if the problem persists plesae contact your service provider

but my bb msn is working , and when i connect to the internet throught the browser via wi-fi the internet is work !

i try some soultions like resending the service book again but that didn't work
please anyone can help me ?

change the default browser from HOTSPOT to INTERNET

also a carrier is the network you are on.

Do you have a the right settings in TCP/IP? Note that some fields are simply left blank. Try these:

APN: Jawalnet.com.sa
Username: <leave blank>
Password: <leave blank>



If that doesn't work, try:

APN: Jawalnet.com
Username: <leave blank>
Password: <leave blank>

yes i did that but didn't work also ..
but i think i find the cause of this problem it's the sim card , because i have it from over 5 years so it's old and some people told me that they faced the same problem and by changing the old sim card everything work well !

Cool. Funny how so often it's the simple things that trip us up. I had a problem with getting data services to work on an old 8300 Curve several years back. Tried everything multiple times. Turns out my SIM card was just too old. Upgraded that (5 minutes in a store, free) and suddenly the 8300 sprang to life.
