Default ***RESOLVED***O2 BIS - Logging in? - 10-10-2009, 09:15 AM

Hi, again, (if you read my other post) I have posted this on another forum, but no harm in keeping my options open....

I'm a tad baffled.

I'm trying to log into my BIS online with O2, although I had made a typo, I was able to get my password sent to my device, having entered my PIN in the reminder section.

I've tried to log into my BIS account, but i get a message saying I have entered an incorrect username and or password.

I have tried logging in using the following.
username
[email address]
pin
[email address]

all with the password which was sent to my Bold.

I have the email set up on my phone as [email address] and have sent a test email from the phone to an external email address which was received without issue, I've also replied to that email, and again, it was received on my device.

Does anyone have any ideas? btw, I have tried logging on via BlackBerry Internet Service and https://bis.eu.blackberry.com but still nothing

Any thoughts?

go to options-status on your blackberry and you wil see an alphanumeric PIN number. use that.
In your profile you used 2138b2f3

Thanks for the reply Akosnitzky, I have tried that already, sorry it didn't seem clear in the above post

I've tried entering the pin 2138b2f3, also with the @o2 bit, as well as using the username and username @ o2.

The username box is the username you setup.
Only a username, not@O2 or anything.
And the password you received.
It is NOT your PIN number.

Failing that, CAll O2, ask for technical support, and ask that they reset the username and password for BIS.
Then you can create a NEW username and password, but shouldn't lose the email address or settings.

It would seem that I used a different username different to the one I set up for the bb email doh!

I contacted O2, spoke to a chap, asked to be put through to Tech support or at least someone with knowledge of the BIS or Blackberry Admin, after 15 mins of trying to inform him that I didn't want my o2 account details changed (the one where my bills etc is) and that it was the BIS Server username/password I was having difficulty with, he went to ask a colleague, came back, said he'd get his colleague to call me back, which he did within a few mins.

So, all sorted...thankfully

Thanks for your help on here too.
