Default Verizon Phone on TMobile - 10-22-2009, 12:32 AM

I have found a pink curve 8330 that I want to buy. I use T-Mobile service which is a GSM provider. My question(s) does the 8330 come with a slot for a sim card? If it does will an unlock code work to activate it on TMobile or am I wasting my money?

I dont believe it would work on T-mobile.

I will not work at all on TMO

8330 is a CDMA device with no SIM card. As above, won't work.

8830 and 9630 are true "world phones" with slots for GSM service. It's not always so straight forward to get them working on North American GSM, but folks are doing it.

You can't get the 8830 to work in North America at all.

9530 and 9630, yes...

Ah, that's the one that was locked out of North America GSM. The Storm was the first to allow NAM GSM. Got it!
