i am having a difficult time getting the right info. i have a BB 8700c.
1. what are the new features for the 8700c update? IM? Internet? Youtube?
2. how do i change the settings for my device to support my sim card
3. can i watch videos with the update seeing that the device came with java script?

those are the quwstions i have been having a hard time finding the answers. i mean i found this website manytimes. those post were like 3 or 4 years old i think. so could someone plz help me withthis. because if i can't do what i want with this phone (watch anime for exmp) i'll just get a new phone or something. but i really don't want to do that seeing that i got this phone for free and all.

2. You need to state more detail of what you need in regards to the Sim card settings.
3. Possibly, but it won't great as the 8700 was never intended for video. Plus your EDGE only signal will be slow for streaming any video.

I'll make the assumption the OP is talking about upgrading the OS to 4.5. If that's the case,

1- Probably the biggest new feature you'll notice and care about (for good or bad) is html email. The 8700 did not have a media player and it doesn't get one with 4.5.

2- Don't know. What are talking about? Unlocking?

3- No.
