So I have a 32k Cingular sim card. I'm obviously contracted to AT&T through the company that pays my bill.
Can I go to an AT&T store and request a new sim card since mine is technically obsolete and only works in a Blackberry?

What's the consensus on that? I've heard from a few people that I have to pay and from a few more people that they will give me one. What's the deal?

You may be able to rarely do they charge for a sim at a corporate att store! However if it is a business acct you may need to talk with your acct mgr

I did this some time back with T-Mobile and they hooked me up in about 3 minutes at a store, no questions asked. I don't see any reason AT&T wouldn't do it. At worst they might charge you $10 for the SIM card.
