Default vodafone email forwarding/entourage questions

Please Login to Remove!

i am not sure if you are the right guys to speak to, but I am losing emails from my blackberry.
I have mail forwarding that is created through my vodafone account, which basically sends emails from my email account to my blackberry first, then if my entourage is open they also receive it. If it is closed they all come down when i open the program.

the problem I am having is that when I am not at home, i will receive emails on the blackberry, i get home and open entourage and download the emails from the server, sometimes the emails actually go missing from my blackberry. I have tried 'leave copy of email on server for x days' but when that time expires, i end up getting double the emails bought down from the server.
I am just wondering if you guys have heard of this error or problem with the blackberry and losing emails like that.
regards
bret

Sounds like the account is reconciling deleted items. Is it set up as a POP3 account or IMAP? Usually, if mail is going to be synced like that you're given a choice of deleting from handheld of deleting from server. To ensure you're given this choice, open Messaging and use the BlackBerry key to choose Options. Go to Email Reconciliation and make sure "Delete On" is set to Handheld (only takes mail off the BB, not the mail server) or Prompt (asks you to choose Server or Handheld each time you delete).
