What carriers have phone that will work on the Rogers network?

I am in the US and plan to purchase a new phone before returning home to Canada. I have an existing contract with Rogers that I want to put the phone on. Should I be looking for a Verizon phone? AT&T? T-Mobile? Virgin?

Please help :)

You get EDGE only with the newer 3G devices. TMO uses different 3G frequencies. If you only want slow data rates or voice only, then any GSM device would work. However, I would at least try to get something that your carrier supports and has the right service books.

It will, but to get the BB features, you will need the service books, which Rogers probably doesn't have since they don't sell the 9800 yet.

Check the 9800 section as I know there has been some discussion on this subject.
