how do u display a text once u have obtained the file path say"file:///store/sample/user/text is there any method


would appreciate for any response

Paths that start with file:\\ refer to local machine filesystems only. If your desktop computer shows file:///store/sample/user/text, then your blackberry cannot access that file unless you email it to yourself or transfer it using desktop manager.

actually i am trying to build an application in JDE which can display texxt files which are store in the internal memory of the blackberry. so i wanted to know if there is any method to make the text visible on the mainscreen of blackberry.

can we access the txt files directly from windows machine . can any one tell the location ..
