Determining Country from API
 
Hi - I'm a new boy to the blackberry development front and need a hand! I've got a bunch of devices (8700, 8800s) all running 4.1.0 and trying to write an application whereby I can determine the country they are in. The blackberry API 4.2.1 offers getMCC but 4.1.0 does not. There is a getNetworkID but I do not know how to interpret this figure once I recieved it. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I could determin the country from the device with API 4.1.0? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Why you can't use getNetworkId()?
Of course you must have list as Map (networkID - country).

where could I get this mapping? Is is stored anyway? I would like to store the mappings in a database.
