Default Transfer data from BB to desktop using cable

Hi all,
I wanted to know if it is possible to transfer data from a blackberry device to desktop through cable programatically? How can I listen to the data sent on the desktop side?

afaik there is no official way. we had one of our programmers write a program that reads/writes on USB

there is same in JDE which contains serious bugs but which can be used as starting point:

device part:
%JDE_HOME%\samples\com\rim\samples\device\usbdemo

desktop part:
%JDE_HOME%\samples\usbclient

can you give me some hints about the read/write on Usb part?

I tried both ishaprusb and libusbnotnet but couldnt' really get any data read/write to the blackberry usb composite device, thats the device found by usb bus....
