Default Making the Blackberry Play a Loud Sound (not a quiet one)

Please Login to Remove!

I have been playing around with making my blackberry make sounds, and I have the code to make it do so and it works well in the simulator, however when I put it onto my actual Blackberry the sound is very quiet, and I want it to be very loud. Here is my code, what am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance
Code:
 private static final short[] TUNE = new short[] {BFlat, BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,
        BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,
        BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,
        BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,
        BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat
        ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat
        ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat ,BFlat
                                                        };
        private static final int VOLUME = 100; //% volume

        public void startNotification(long consequenceID, long sourceID, long eventID, Object configuration, Object context) {
            //start the LED blinking
            if(Global.tagged == true){
            LED.setConfiguration(500, 250, LED.BRIGHTNESS_50);
            LED.setState(LED.STATE_BLINKING);
            notifyUser(Global.body);
            System.out.println("Body is: " + Global.body);
            Alert.startAudio(TUNE, VOLUME);
            Alert.startBuzzer(TUNE, VOLUME);
            Global.tagged = false;
            }
