I'm not sure whether this is the appropriate forum. If there's another forum more suitable for questions regarding theme development, please let me know.
I really like the AT&T Icon theme which came preinstalled with my Blackberry 8820. It's crisp, concise and professional. Unfortunately, there is no corresponding AT&T Today theme. The device does come preinstalled with the Blackberry Today theme, but I really find that theme unappealing in terms of esthetics. (I'm surprised to find such a 'candy/toy-like' theme on what is essentially a business device.)
Anyway, I'd like to use Plazmic Theme Builder to devleop my own custom theme. I'd like to build on the AT&T Today theme, using their background, icon graphics, etc., but I don't see anyway of getting access to this theme from where it is 'embedded' on the device. Is there any way of doing this?
BTW, I am a software developer; I know a wide range of languages from COBOL to C# (yeah, I'm no youngster, but I'm not quite senile yet either
. If you have a solution which requires a bit of programming / hacking, I will probably be able to handle it.
