Hi,
My desktop manager and handheld softwares uptodate. I am able to download all some application onto my device using desktop manager, but not all.What could be possible issue? can somebody suggest some option to solve this error.

Please some one help!!!!!!!!!!

This message, which has been posted many, many times, means that you do not have the Handheld Operating System installed onto your PC. You need both pieces of software installed on the PC, both Desktop Manager AND the Handheld OS for your 8700.

Download the Handheld OS and install it onto your PC.

Hello everyone,

I've seen the posts on this topic and tried everything you mention but still get the same error message. My desktop software is up to date, I see the list of allready installed applications but cannot installe anything new without getting "No additional application designed for your device found".

Any idea? (I'm running Vista)

Load your HANDHELD operating sytem to your PC.

You don't need to do this anymore though with desktop manager 4.3.

Ah, nice to know. I haven't tried it with my DM 4.3 on my laptop. DM 4.3 is still so buggy, I haven't loaded it to my office PC yet.

I guess the user remains on OS 4.2x.

I don't know why ppl are saying that DM 4.3 is buggy? I have yet to have a problem using it. Mind you, I don't ever use the media manager of it.

ok, /offtopic/
I know of two users with which it would not sync to Outlook, and they are quite accomplished users. However, it syncs well with my Outlook, perfectly.
Using Swtich Device to backup my third party apps, I had to run the app four times before it completed.
In my own case it did not load the Media Manager. So, no MM, but doesn't really matter since I don't use it, but still.

It just doesn't seem as across-the-board dependable as 4.2 SP2.

If people are saying it's buggy, then maybe...
