I have installed Blackberry Enterprise Service on my machine and my MDS service is running I can browse the Apache Tomcat page with http://myhost:7080. But When I am activating MDS on my blackberry I get MDS service failure. I am very new to Blackberry world.
Status : MDS Server Failure
Service Book:IPPP for BIBS
Server URL:http://myhost:7080.
Someone please help I am stuck for two days

To make certain connections to webservices you need to go through a MDS router, either supplied for you by your corporate BES if you have one, or through a licensing agreement with RIM for BIBS, which is like a public BES. I could be wrong but I believe that's probably your problem.
