Default Catch Application Uninstall Event?

Please Login to Remove!

Seems there should be a way to do this, but I haven't seen anything yet...

Is there a way for an application to be notified when it's about to be uninstalled? Would want to do this to perform some last-minute cleanup, such as RMS stores, etc. TIA.

afaik the device handles cleaning the RMS for you when you uninstall by removing associative stores to the app keys

Thanks for the reply.

The AMS will remove PersistentStore stores if they've been associated with an app package, but not for RMS. I migrated from RMS to PersistentStore for this reason.

In any event, the idea of an uninstall hook has been on my mind so I thought I'd throw the question out there in case anyone knows.

Wirelessly posted

Did anyone find a way to do this? After a brief search in the APIs, I came up empty-handed. I would've thought this existed, however.
