I have about another two weeks of development left before I'll be able to release my Blackberry Eclipse plugin ("EclipseBerry"). Just about done with the ResourceBundle (RRH/RRC) editor right now.

It's basically going to start out offering the common JDE functionality only for Eclipse users. Please please message me with comments and suggestions. I've tried to keep this under wraps but it's about time to put it out there. It will be free, etc and I want it to be as useful as possible. Give me your wishlists.

Some features will include (in stages over the next month or two):

Wizards:
New "Hello World" wizard.
New (Midlet/CLDC/Library) wizard

Editors:
RRH/RRC Editor (with incremental builder so Eclipse can find the interface)
Export to JSR-238, etc???
String-to-long context menu in Java editor.

Preferences:
Installed JDEs
Compiler options
Signing options
- Generate sigtool db from csi files
- For JDE >= 4.3.0, sigtool password management
Simulator options

Project Properties:
Project-specific JDE
Project-specific simulator
Project type (midlet, cldc, library)
Signing options
Title, version, vendor, description
Ouptut file name
Generate ALX option
Options for system module, auto-start, startup-tier, ribbon position, etc
Title resources
Args passed to main

Build:
JAD "merger" for multi-artifact deployment

Integrated Running/Debugging:
This will be done later.

interesting, but I still prefer to stick with netbeans. When your inline debugging part will be finished I'll really use it, at least to replace this crappy JDE.

Export to Ant, like EclipseME does. That's good. I don't like the idea of being tied to the IDE. IDEs can be extremely useful, but they shouldn't be a requirement. I'll come up with some additional ant tasks for this (which might be a good idea anyway as etaras has been for a couple days now).
