Just curious, what is the specific API to change the trackball color in Java?
Thanks in advance.

Default Led

Isn't this only for the LED at the top of the BB that tells you when you have a message?

API says it's for the trackball as well.

I read in another forum that this only works for the Pearl though...? I just did a demo on an 8800 and it doesn't change color (though the device resets if the app is run twice. Heh).

The 8800 does not have multicolor trackball capability. Only the 8100 does, not even the 8130.

The demo software can be found at:

And the app from geek and proud doesn't run on an 8100 with OS 4.3 either. There will be a market for this once the 4.3 handheld code is released for the 8100 and nobody's trackball program works....hint hint
