Default BOOKS BOOKS and MORE BOOKS Which One?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there,

I am looking for different books to help me ut with developing for the BlackBerry Curve. I know one of the first books I need is a J2ME.

But are there any books specific for the blackberry (minly the curve)?

Thanks for all input,
Shawn Mulligan

I wasn't able to find any. There are some blackberry books, but they're pretty much useless.

while there aren't any blackberry specific dev book any good j2me book will be useful, use the dev guide pdf's to get comfortable with the user interface and persistent store api's - after that everything else is mostly the same as any j2me device.

i've found that apress books are more useful than o'reilly's output which tend to be overly verbose.

APRESS.COM : Beginning J2ME: From Novice to Professional, Third Edition : 9781590594797 - is really useful.

APRESS.COM : Pro Java ME MMAPI: Mobile Media API for Java Micro Edition : 9781590596395 - proved invaluable for a couple of projects this year
