Exclamation RIM OS registry

Please Login to Remove!

Does some one know if there isn any information available whether there is registry concept in RIM OS as we have a registry for windows mobiles where in all the information about the OS and it's components information will be stores like the keys, licenses etc.

Usually if we see windows desktop OS there will be a registry associated with OS which we can manipulate. Please help me out if you haev some information on this context.

Thanks & Regards,
Siva Charan.

As was posted elsewhere already, this information can be found in the BlackBerry Application Developer Guide Volume 2, Ch. 12. About the closest thing BlackBerrys have to a Windows registry is the CodeModuleManager. Application-specific data such a license keys would probably be stored in persistent storage using RMS, PersistentStore, or JSR-75.
