Default

The BlackBerry allows you to create custom menu items in certain places (i.e. address book, browser, etc.) You may be able to create a menu item on the home screen.

The DevGuide has instructions on how to do it for the built-in apps.

For the home screen, it may be possible via ApplicationMenuItemRepository.MENUITEM_SYSTEM.
