Default Clearing BB Maps POI cache

Please Login to Remove!

I have an application that invokes bb maps with location arguments (such that they are then displayed on the map). However, when the user backgrounds the maps application (rather than closing it) and then they make another maps request from my application, the previous location request is still there.

For example:

1. maps request -- 5 locations
2. user sees 5 points of interest (little icons) on the BB Maps app
3. user presses back
4. maps request -- 3 locations
5. user sees 8 points of interest (rather than 3) on the BB Maps app

I want the user to only see the points of interest that were made on the maps request. In other words, I'm looking for a way to clear the point of interest cache before each location document request to BB Maps.

Anyone know how to tackle this one?
