Hi All,

We have a MIDLet which installs fine via OTA on 8300 and 8800, but fails with 8100 and 7100.

The COD file is signed with purchased RIM keys, it's about 35K in size; cod, jad, jar MIME types are set on Web Server, and URL to COD file is valid obviously.

On 8300 and 8800 it installs like a charm. On 8100 and 7100 it says "The application doesn't contain signature..." (!!!) and then it gives 907 Invalid COD.

most probably you compile it under JDE 4.2 and your 8100 and 7100 has older OS version - maybe 4.1.

if you tried to run a 4.2 build in a 4.1 os, wouldn't that throw an out of memory error instead of a signature error?
