Default 907 invalid jar http error 413: request entity too large - 03-15-2008, 01:12 PM

Hi,

I have this problem: I've developed an app and made it available as a standard midlet(jad/jar) on a web server. The app is fairly big, different versions having between 1mb and 4mb. Until now everybody was able to download it and install ti without problems. Some time ago(a month or so) this error started to appear: 907 invalid jar http error 413: request entity too large . However on the emulators is still working as it did before. I've read that some settings in BES/MDS could limit the size of the downloadable jar/cod or http response. But most of the users aren't using BES. Could it be possible that the carriers changed some settings? What do you think what could be causing this?

Thanks!

Some things are different, but it sounds suspiciously like this issue. Might not be related, but the fact that things just broke overnight makes them sound possibly related.

Do your homework and know how to ask a good question.

Default thanks - 03-16-2008, 04:37 PM

this seems to be the solution to my problem. in the article you gave me they speak about a certain bug in the Blackberry Internet Service - which is causing this behavior.

Thanks again!
