Question Embedded Browser Field does not scroll

Please Login to Remove!

I am trying to embed a Browser Field in my application. The field works fine and retrieves the web page and renders it correctly, however if the page is longer than the screen size, the embedded browser does not scroll vertically when I move the track wheel.

Is there anything special that I need to do in order to get the browser field to scroll automatically ? Currently I am just using a VerticalFieldManager with VERTICAL_SCROLL set and I add the browser field to this VerticalFieldManager.

Thanks for any help.

Stupid question but do you add the VerticalFieldManager to the screen? IE
mainScreen.add(vfm);

Actually I found out that this is a known issue with JDE 4.0. The release notes for JDE 4.0 say that the embedded browser field does not scroll in view mode, the suggested workaround is that you have to set Manager.NO_VERTICAL_SCROLL for it to scroll This does work but it has a side effect that nothing else on your screen scrolls.
