Default How to Add New Simulator to JDE?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Folks,

I'm using the JDE 4.1. I have 7100 - 7520 simulators available to me in the JDE.

However, I'd like to add the 8700c simulator to my JDE. I do have the 8700c simulator installed and running fine on my computer, but I can't seem to get it to show as one of the options in my JDE. (I'd like to be able to build and run my application on the 8700c simulator from the JDE). I tried copying and pasting the 8700c.bat and 8700c.xml files into my ...\Research In Motion\Blackberry JDE 4.1.0\simulator folder, but that didn't seem to do anything. Now, in the JDE 4.1 when I go to Edit | Preferences |Simulator (tab) | General (tab), I still do not have the 8700c as one of my options

Anyone know how to do this, or what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance
