Unhappy how to add a menu to an application which is not a system app

Please Login to Remove!

dear all:
I want to add a menu to an application which is developed by other one. But I find the API ApplicationMenuItemRepository.addMenuItem can only add the menu to a system application which has a unique Repository ID. Does any one have idea whether and how I can get the Repository ID of 3rd party software?
Many thanks!
