Default How does BES map emails with Exchange Server

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I know that BES generates a random Message ID when pushing emails out to BlackBerrys, but how does it maintain a relationship between a particular BlackBerry Email with Message ID and the original Email out on the Exchange Server?

Given the Message ID, is there a way to retrieve the original Email out on the Exchange Server?

Thanks
Chi-Wei

The Blackberry Email Message ID (I'm not sure if this is really a random number of blackberry) is stored inside the header of the original Exchange Email.

Hope this helps.

Oh, so the original email out on the exchange server actually has its header updated with the Message ID assigned by BES?
