Default problem with SMS

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, guys
I have developed j2me application for sending SMS. It works fine in GSM BB but in 8830 BB which is CDMA for Telus.
I saw many pages about this. So I tried two methods.
1. (DatagramConnection)Connector.open("sms://");
2. (MessageConnection)Connector.open("sms://");

they didn't work at all. I loaded the SMSdemo, the sample of 4.3JDE, then the IOException was thrown.

any ideas are welcome.

thanks in advance
Judy

Quote:
Programmatically, sending messages on CDMA handhelds is currently not supported. As a possible workaround you may use the Invoke API to send SMS messages via the Messaging Application:

net.rim.blackberry.api.invoke.Invoke
BlackBerry JDE 4.3.0 API Specification: Class Invoke
