Visual Studio Plugin Install Problem (SQL)

I am unable to install the Visual Studio plugin. It keeps going to a SQL 2005 install app. After about 5 minutes that pops up a dialog saying basically that the "sa" password was not strong enough. The only options it gives me are "Retry" and "Cancel". Retry is an infinite loop because it never asks for the sa password. Cancel completely stops the install process..

I tried completely uninstalling ALL SQL stuff on my machine (a major pain). It still does the same thing.

Has anyone solved this problem?

Some others have seen this problem before as well... You probably have an existing SQL Express installation on your machine correct?

If you have the security policies set on that SQL Express instance to require a strong password that is X characters long then the password used by the VS install doesn't match that criteria the install fails.

Easiest thing to do is disable the your strong password policies that don't match the style of password being used by the installer.
