Default MNC, MCC, Network Provider, Network Id

Please Login to Remove!

Hi @ll,

I am looking for a method which returns the current Network Provider. I only found methods (getHomeMCC()) in IDENInfo, but I cannot use this class with a GPRS Network (Device 7290), can I? Also I'd like to know how to read the parameter networkId in some methods of the Interface RadioStatusListener, like:
Code:
public void networkServiceChange(int networkId, int service)
Is this id unique to all networks, and is it possible to get the provider name to each id?

Thanks,
abx

Unhappy Mnc, Mcc

I've been requesting:
net.rim.device.api.system.GPRSInfo.GPRSCellInfo.ge tMNC();
net.rim.device.api.system.GPRSInfo.GPRSCellInfo.ge tMCC();
...for a while now, but to no avail!

Please let me know if you get any luck! d avid underscore bond \at] agilent.com

Unhappy

I know - it's desperate!

Some more detail of what we're after:

Request to RIM to add the following methods to the RIM Blackberry API:

int GPRSInfo.GPRSCellInfo.getMCC(); // Returns the Mobile Country Code on which the device is currently camped
int GPRSInfo.GPRSCellInfo.getMNC(); // Returns the Mobile Network Code on which the device is currently camped

It is expected that the implementation would be via the AT command line, e.g.:
> AT+COPS=3,2
< OK
> AT+COPS?
< +COPS: 0,2,20801
< OK
In this example, 208 is the MCC for France. 01 is the MNC for France Telecom
