Default Adding third party cod files to a project

Please Login to Remove!

I am using version of the JDE and have created a new workspace and project. I included some third party JAR files in the build properties and I suspect that the corresponding third party cod files need to be distributed with my application, correct?

I changed the alx file manually and added the additional cod files, but when I load my app using the desktop manager it gives me an error saying that I am missing a class that I know is apart of the third party software. I also noticed in the desktop manager that when I click on the details associated with my app that only my custom cod module is listed and none of the third party ocd files are listed that I manually added to the alx file.

The app runs fine in the simulator, but I have to be missing something. Is there a way through the JDE to add the cod modules?

Thanks in advance,

Another option is to do an OTA deployment and modify the JAD. See if that works.

Since most companies using 4.0 are removing the Desktop Manager, we have moved away from using ALXs.
