for anyone having difficulty finding the nice new MapField it's located in net.rim.device.api.lbs for some reason instead of net.rim.device.api.ui.component with all the other field classes. i guess they've added the lbs namespace with a view to adding extra functions and services in the future.

how does it work?
I'm currently browsing the APIs... will get back on you if I find it by myself but if anyone already tried it, please let me know....
