Default Unable to use WiFi on the emulator

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

I am trying get my app to work using the WIFI connection on the emulator, after setting up the WIFI it showed a yellow circle with a "-" sign.

When my app tried to connect using HttpConnection class it just waited until the connection timeout.
  • I am using the 8820 4.2.2 Simulator
  • I have unchecked "Mobile Network", and checked "Wi-Fi WLAN Test Network"
  • "WLAN Test Network" is on the Available Wi-Fi Networks list, there is even a tick next to the word "(connected)".
  • The WAP browser is working.
  • Other apps like facebook is also not getting a connection either.

Please help..
