Default Detecting new icon in Blackberry home screen

Please Login to Remove!

Hello, is it possible to detect if a new icon was add to BB home screen?
For exemple, if a channel browser push is made, a new icon is add to the home screen. Is there any variable which stores information about the number of icons(applications) in BB home screen?
Thanks and sorry my bad english.
