Default problem in reading SMS greater than 160 char with getPayLoadText()

Hi,

I want to read the sms data with getPayLoadText() method of TextMessage class. it looks good when message is less than or equal to 160 charcters but when the characters are exceeded the message data could not get correctly. it truncated the data.

please let me know how to read the correct data when message length is greater than 160 charcter.

Last time I checked, SMS limits the message size to 160 characters. This is a limitation of the protocol. This is why it is called "Short Message Service". Your TextMessage class is working as designed.
