Default How to detect user's exact BB model via the browser?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I'm just wondering if anyone has any info on how I can code my site to automatically detect which blackberry a person is using as soon as he logs onto my site from his phone. Bplay.com is a good example of this feature.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

this is covered in the Browser guide:

http://na.blackberry.com/eng/deliver...oper_Guide.pdf

Page 36 is what you're looking for, unfortunately their example is written in Perl but the logic's the same for anything else.
