I installed Blackberry JDE 4.5.0.7 on Vista based laptop.
I am able to build Java examples that come with Blackberry JDE & get "Build Complete" message.

When I try to "Build all and Run" or Debug HelloWorldDemo in JDE, I get these errors:

Attempting to connect to VM.
Press Enter to Cancel.
java.lang.NullPointer.Exception
BlackBerry Handheld has stopped working.

Ok. I have made some progress.

I changed default Simulator to 8100 and I still get some error messages, but Simulator comes up and allows me to test changes.
(settings: Edit>Preferences>Simulator)

Silly question: Is it necessary to reload & re-initialize simulator with each debug?
