Default Degugging on device with Eclipse + JDWP - breakpoints don't work

Please Login to Remove!

I have set up Eclipse and the debugger work fine on the simulator. The JDE works fine on device.
When I try to use Eclipse for on device debugging (via JDWP) everything seems to work fine but breakpoints are ignored

I have exactly the same problem.

Have you find a solution yet?

Thanks for your help!

I've found that the debugger in the eclipse plugin (at least on the version I use, 4.3) pales in comparison to the features available in the RIM JDE. Unfortunately the editor in the JDE is near worthless.

What I do is do all of my major development in eclipse, but for nitty gritty debugging work I load up the project in the JDE. It has a whole host of things that either aren't in the eclipse plugin or I'm totally overlooking. (Things like snapshotting the number of objects, memory utilization, coverage, profiling, etc).

Hope it helps!

Default same problem here

i'm getting the same problem with IntelliJ.

The debugger is unable to attach (and stay connected) to the JDWP launcher for the simulator.

This is for version 4.2.1 and 4.6

I've yet to try other versions.
