Default apps needed?

Hi,
I used to do C/C++ programming and am downloading the Java Development Environment for Blackberry. I currently have an 8320 and am interested in learning some BB programming.
My question is, is there a subforum or thread on this site where I can look at a running list of programs people want? I'd like a goal for my developing and I'd like to create a helpful program, and definitely don't feel like reinventing the wheel.
Thanks,
Bill

Check the aftermarket software forum for a thread on most wanted new applications.

Here's one that shouldn't be too hard: for GPS-equipped phones, an application to automatically set the current time zone.

(You may be able to do it without GPS depending on how accessible the tower's location data is within the API).

I've posted a bounty for a location-based profile manager on my blog at gordon.dewis.ca which might fit what you're looking for.

I would like some software to track my sons BMX motos and calculate the points earned through all of the qualifiers. I downloaded what I thought was the correct software to create it, but it doesn't load. I know VB6 and would like to program my bb.
