Question Can a BES push replace an application, or does it only provide a new one?

Please Login to Remove!

I created an application that a buisness wants to use. Right now,it's version 1.1. I believe the buisness is planning on doing a large BES push to over 1000 employees. Eventually, version 1.2 will be ready for production. When the buisness pushes version 1.2, what happends to 1.1? Does it get replaced? Do only people without version 1.1 get version 1.2? What would happen?

Also, would the results be any different if the buisness wanted to go from version 1.2 to version 1.1?

Default

You should see on the BES configuration status check for a person that it will say install required if they don't have it, or update required if they have the older version and downgrade required if they have a newer version.

Then it will apply whatever they need, install or it will replace to upgrade/downgrade.
