hi

When i install my application it always ask for a reboot of the device. If i install and remove gmail or some other app it doesnot ask for reboot. Does any one know why is it so and what are the possible solutions(i dont to rebbot again and again).

Is it a compulsory thing to reboot whenver i install new app??

Thanks in advance

It the same on Windows OS, isn´t it ?

Applications which are "close" to OS core elements usually require a reboot while normal applications which are not using any of the core elements (like phonelog, browser, mail,...) do not require a reboot.

I have a game application that doesn't even use any restricted packages. When loading with javaloader it reboots my BB every other time, which I find rather strange. I could understand a reboot every time, but why every other?

JavaLoader reset device

If the application is running at the time of download, BB OS reboots.
