RadioInfo Class getNumberOfPacketsSent API

All,
RadioInfo class has an API which indicates getNumberOfPacketsSent & getNumberOfPacketsRecieved which gives number of IP Packets recieved by Radio. Most of end users would prefer to see how many bytes tx/rx by the Radio rather than number of IP Packets.

How do we convert number of packets rx/tx to bytes rx/tx

I knew Minimon states that
1. Counts the IP traffic on GSM/GPRS/EDGE network in byte.

But I sent him a email. But no responses

Any ideas will be helpful

Thanks

This API is not consistent

In some models and OS versions it returns packets and bytes in case of others.

There is no word on what is the actual packet size. So you will need to device your own way to handle the inconsistency.

Which version of Blackberry JDE would give you in bytes.

Documentation states

Retrieves the number of IP packets received by the radio.

Retrieves the number of IP packets sent by the radio.
