RIM Api for simultaneous Voice and Data transfer

Hi,

Does BlackBerry Bold support simultaneous voice and data transfer?

Do we have any RIM Api's which allows to access voice and data transfer simultaneously?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

3G does support simultaneous voice and data. However, so does a wifi device while connected to wifi.

As for API's I'll move this to the Developer's Forum for answers.

no need for any APIs. if it is possible the device will do it.

Indeed.
I also have the BlackBerry service on my Windows Mobile device, and when I am in a 3G coverage area, I can received emails while I am talking on the phone.

Definately device and network dependant, and not API.
