Hi!

I'm new to BB dev and I can't decide which solution is the best for what I want to do.

I'll store data inside the BB, but I have to check if I need to update those data every week or so. The data are inside a mySQL server.

So should I interrogate the server via a webpage?

should I make a file server side, send it to BB and parse it on the BB ? ( but I have no idea how to upload a file to a BB except via email ? stream only ? )

or should I make a web service and interrogate it via the BB ?

Thank you for sharing your experience.

If you ask me it all depends on how large the sent file would be, and how much processing power does your interrogation need.

The best answer would be: which ever answer that will minimize processing power by BB, and minimize amount of data to send.
