Default Hour Glass Pops up when sending data to Server

Please Login to Remove!

Our application sends the data over direct TCP Connection to a Server at frequent intervals. We see that a hour glass pops up when sending data .
We are spawning the thread and sending the data in a seperate thread.
It is causing serious problems to the End users when they are using other applications such as "Email/SMS/ etc..

Can somebody give me some tips/example code which can prevent it...

The hourglass means that the system is performing garbage collection. Without looking at your code, I guess the conclusion would be that your TCP connection is creating lots of garbage and comsuming memory resources, forcing g.c. to kick in to free memory.

You might want to try using the Profiler in the JDE to take a snapshot of your object handles before, during, and after the offending code.
