Hi all,
i have downloaded the MDS services and tried to install that.
while doing so it propted me to install the SQL server before going further.
hence i installed the setup for mssqlserver. and then when i proceed, the host and port number are localhost and 1433 respectively. but once i give a user name and password in the next step and then it says that , it couldnt reach the host.

can anyone plz help me resolving this error.

Woops... I meant to install the MDS Simulator not the Services... I was wondering why it needed SQL server and all that other stuff!! I installed the MDS Simulator and everything is working fine. I can now download daily (or weekly) levels for my upcoming game.
