Hi

I have a application which i install in my Blackberry. The problem is whenever i want to reinstall the application i need to manually delete the previous aplication and then reboot the device and then i can install the application again. Is there any way to specify in my program so that if a previous version of the same application is there than overwrite it or delete the previous app and install the new one.

Does any one have any ideas on this. Please let me know , any links will be very useful.

I think you speak about installation using BB desktop manager.

use javaloader for development build tests or OTA.

I am speaking about the OTA download, how do i delete the previous installation before reinstalling again.

If i dont delete it it always ask for a device reboot.
