|  trapping 'click' without menu

is it possible to handle a 'click' event on a grid or repeater,
in an MDS application (developed in VStudio plugin or MDS studio)
so that i can get an action done without getting the popup menu
can this be done other than using a hotkey, on the click of the tracking ball/wheel
