Default What Language to learn to produce blackberry safe websites?

Please Login to Remove!

I was wondering what language should i learn in order to produce blackberry safe websites?

I know some websites have a wap site like wap.blackberryforums.com to help alleviate the pressure of the browser on the phone and make is simple for the user to access and read.

Was just wondering what language would that be?

for wap pages WML is used. the blackberry browser can usually display most webpages quite well, it stumbles if it encounters heavy javascript and the css support is dependant on the OS version.

i would recommend to keep the page simple and adjust it to the resolution of standard smartphones, e.g. 240*320.

Thank you for your answer simon.hain!

I had a feeling it was WML. Yeah, but i see the BB trip up a lot lately on sites that are not designed for BB use. usually its the heavily coded ones like you said. Regardless I just wanted to put some info on my site where I give people the option of using there cell phone to see specific important things.

Thanks again!
