Default ButtonField added after ObjectListField is inactive

Please Login to Remove!

I am using the BB JDE 4.2.1. I had a screen with a button at the end, which used to work. The field listener for the button would kick in when the button is pressed. However, recently, I put up a ObjectListField items on top of the button. I implemented a navigationClick () for the ObjectFieldList items.

When I click the button now, the navigationClick seems to get activated with the selected index being the last item on the ObjectFieldList. The field listener for the button doesnt get the event.

Could you please let me know the cause for this?

Sounds like you are eating a navigationClick() event that is meant for the button. Make sure that you only return "true" from navigationClick() for those events that you actually handle. Otherwise, you must return "false" to insure that the events are passed on to the next component.

I have the same problem as justanothauser. How can i determine the field that triggered the event in navigationClick()? Can you please provide a sample code?

Were you already able to solve this problem of yours? may i ask how you did it?
